About GCANN
-
The Greater Chicago Area Association of Neonatal Nurses is a local chapter of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. GCANN brings together neonatal nurses, APRNs, educators, students, and interdisciplinary NICU colleagues across the Greater Chicago area.
We are committed to supporting professional connection, education, leadership, and engagement within the neonatal nursing community.
-
GCANN supports neonatal professionals through educational programming, annual conference planning, networking opportunities, professional development, and chapter engagement. Our goal is to create meaningful opportunities for nurses and neonatal colleagues to learn, connect, and grow together.
-
Our community includes bedside NICU nurses, neonatal APRNs, nurse educators, clinical nurse specialists, students, researchers, and interdisciplinary partners who share a commitment to improving neonatal care. Whether you are new to neonatal nursing or have been practicing for years, GCANN offers a place to connect with others who understand and value this work.
-
GCANN welcomes members who are interested in supporting education, events, communications, outreach, and chapter leadership. To learn more about membership, volunteer opportunities, or ways to get involved, contact us at info@gcann.org
